Shawshank Redemption

The more I watch it the more I fall in love with it. Simple and straight but gives a lots of insight on many different things and values.

Hope:

Its in here, something inside
They cannot get to and
They cannot touch its yours
---
Hope is a dangerous thing
hope can drive a man insane and
Its got no use on your side
Better get use to that idea.

One of teh good thig is appreciation of the zone, the limit or the boundary.

I am sick

now.... don't know what to do. Just finished LOTR less the appendixes. I dont have enrgy left to read the arial 8 font Appendix.  I have only one line to say the beauty of the books can't be brought forward ina movie but the director for LOTR has done Great work and justice to the writing. Though the book is beautiful.

A Bad habit of mine is I read the book to finish it rather than savor it and everytime I finish a book I feel the same... I am getting better. I will pick up the next one soon and finish it soon. LOTR took only 3 years.

I feel like go to Dubai grand and have a glass full but the thought of sitting alone is holding me up. I will try an get something from Duty free next time. The sticks have ended for now but.....unless I swear oath to somebody or take a vow or abstinence for a fixed period.

The rupee is strengthening against dollar.... I could have done better here. I am reading an interesting article

Mitra suggested this. It strikes right at the point.

Chill mate... Lets get some sleep don't know what tomorrow holds for you for sure an empty fridge!!!

Cheers

Net Surfing and Life!!!

You might appreciate the color yellow
but thats just because painter has chosen to paint the sunset yellow
that does not mean that red is any less beautiful color

life is about living in a moment so I take it now :-)

My wanderings in youtube and lust for gossip brought me accross to the above and many more.... but these two I deem to be fit for my blog.

No news as yet and no news is always a good news!!

Yes today's date makrs a new begining and I look foward to it!!

Cheers & Enjoy!!

In General

I need to listen to Carpenters I think the time is coming for that either ways :P

I like the gmail with the different background setting and interestingly they change this according to the local time :P (Dumb Me...but whatever!!)

I am almost reaching the end of LOTR finally currently on 670 page... 300 more to go !! hopefully in the Eid Holidays I will finish it. Next I think I will pick up disgrace mostly... to Kill a Mocking bird I dont think I can start (rather proceed).

Global Economic Crisis hits F1 also, Honda has pulled out of 2009 race, and Nick Fry is looking for potential buyers.

Why people always have a photgraph like this when in Sun? Is the love for the shadow or jsut that you want to show your love for sun :P I also had one when I was in Paris. This is Aman Saleem,

After a long time I chatted with Aman and KantiP.

And today is Ankurs's bday thanks to Kanti I remembered it!! I think I can do better.

I need Gossip!!!

Sharad is the first one and Ritesh is second and others will know it soon!!

So I finish a lovely Post!!

Cheers

Disconnected

Yes I am from almost all the people around me. Gone are the partying days I have parted from them. I didn't realized the cost of shifting to Dubai or may be taking up this role. May be the role isn't a significant contributor but yes shifting here has given a disconnect. There is no worthwhile addition and just like bull in the mill or as they say working like a dog and nothing else. Even if you don't want to realize this but at times you are made to.

They cannot do this to me. I believe I have given the best I could. The more I inch closer to the deadline dates the more jittery I am getting. A packet has found a place in my bag which is not a good sign. ISB is much better it immediately it gives the feedback if your application is rejected. But do I have a choice? My ill luck when is it going to desert me. I don't what should I do to get rid of this. But anyways from tomorrow lets go for the fourth & fifth one.

Keep fighting buddy!!

I am getting desperate. I don't have any plan B, given this tough job scene I am getting obscene dreams. I don't want to work here any more. Looks like December is a disaster for me basically on the professional as well as career front. There is some faint hope but I don't know how much I will get.

Youtube is providing some decent entertainment these days, though all pirated stuff. I don't care as long as it takes my mind off and gives me something to ponder or comment on its ok. "Sorry Bhai" only the babe is good rest there is nothing. Some old silly jokes but nothing so charming, may be the setting of mauritus is ok types. Typical old story, at least they should have put an attempt to give it a better/newer look.

Lots of other things happening on personal front. Mom and Dad are coming to Dubai and I don't have a plan ready for them (How much I have changed? Plan....well I think I never did for myself but for others may be.....). Have few places in mind so somehow will manage. Well mom is in Blore attending to my sis and dad is busy in election duty for first time. Since his constituency had polled 98% so there is a reelection. One of the good things is he sleeps at 9:30 in night.

Alls well!!

Shed this Aalas.... and do something good.

Fightoooo!!!

Cheers

One More down

Submitted the third one today. Somehow managed to put up the show, finally stitched all the pieces together. Called up dad and asked my cousin sis to scan and mail some documents, recklessly careless me. Need luck here as my boss screwed up his recommendation, still I have made request if they accept may be I will have better chance. Anyways PawanG was more enthu on working this one than me. It was he who called up and checked if I need some help. May be people like giving gyaan. Doesn't matter I would say I am 50% hopeful on this one.

Saari called up at 10pm local time thinking that some bank might be open in dubai where he could make a DD. I sugested him one or two things dont know if that worked.

Mom is going to Blore tomorrow alone for the first time in airplane and to some non Hindi state. She is worried :( Hopefully everything should be good.

I will wrote about BKG ka marriage later, but Radha is cute. I could not enjoy the food properly because of somany roadside distractions. We had pyaaz ki kachori at Jodhpur sweet followed by a Jumbo size [shop standard was medium] glass of freshlime juice and one hour after this dinner is served. :( all of us were sitting and staring each other while our hero BKG was busy eating. Next day we got up late and had Poha with Jalebi and after 45 min uncle asked us to have Daal-Bafale (a different version of Bati) with Kari and sweets etc. Again we could not eat. :(.

sleepy now will continue tomrrow.

For me the pipeline or funnel might not be required anymore.

But there

are some good people in the world who are always there to help people like me. The guy at Amravati restaurant in food court had neatly packed my wallet in the polythene pack. He had double packed and sealed with staples. May God bless him!! and give something to me to get rid of this careless/carefree nature.

Anyways as usual I am not doing what I should be doing. Watched Dostana online yesterday. Good movie. I think the director had good hold of the movie all time and didn't let it slip. As somebody said someone else would be better than Boby Deol. He doesn't have the charisma that was needed for the role. Definitely Karan Johar maintained his faithfulness toward Bachhan family and AB was given good amount of stuff to do and he it delivered it well. John Abraham great and probably had it taken away from AB with only one stunt. Piggy Chops is mind blowing with fantastic acting. I believe she gives tough fight to Preity in being a Babe!!

Heading off to Jaipur again.... BKGupta's marriage!! Now a days I walk to my office and come back also i.e. a 5 Km walk every day in 50 min. On the way back buy two hot oven baked chapatis Pakistani style.

God please push some Sanity here and little luck too....

Writing on the Wall

It seems to be the writing on the wall "Ankur we regret to inform you that.... you have missed the bus again". And I seem to be not doing anything for this. As Mitra said the effort you have put in the application reflects in your essays and yours truly spanning the world didn't had dedicated time for his own application for next year. At times and places the "compromise" together with the ambiguity is further sinking me down. Further the competition with economies sinking down is worsening the situation. Those financial guys with deep pockets dont think about the interest rates and returning the loan so all the schools are open.

This negativity is somehow not letting me think clearly and appreciate different aspects. Taking the positive out of the "financial" applications: I might be distinct, but how good is my marketing of the distinctiveness. The I-bankers and the researchers could also put in their exposure point. World travel everyone has, who cares about the extensiveness.

Spoke to pc yesterday for 20 min chat and we both were quiet!!! somethings from here and there but nothing good. We are 5 Hours apart.

I have put on good amount of weight and now I am motivating myself to climb up three floors in my building hopefully tomorrow. I worked hard at home and ate hard as well. Spent two nights out of home!! played 3 patti at abhinav's place and lost 80AED came back at 5:00. Lots of things happened. We 6, Abhinav, Shishir, Abhilash, Ritesh and Priyanka (PJ) went to Nahargarh, the RDB fort. 4 of these guys were driniking and I as a good obedient boy didnt. On the way to top we stopped to watch the lighting etc, then came a police jeep. I had a can which I had placed on the car dicky. Just before the Policeman got down I picked it up and was holding behind me. Then he called up driver so Ritesh went up to him and showed his license etc. The policeman allowed him to drive with lots of comment etc and waited for us to get going. In the mean time I had placed the can on the boundary wall. Now how could I leave the can outside calling forth all the H2 PAF stealing skills I picked up and smuggled it in the car. Somehow was very exciting. :D

On diwali day called up sharad at 11:15 and we roamed on the roads in his car till 4:30 am. Geting more daredevil we had 7 sticks each. Our discussions moved from one thing to other and so did the car. We started fom my place went to MI road. Then moved to main railway station after this we thought we should have long drive now so we went to someplace beyond Sanganer. which was about 40Km + I think we should have spanned more than 100km that night in 4 hours. I was thinking mom & dad would be sleepping so I could easily sneak in but to my surprise mom was up and due to some traditon stuff she was doing something. It couldnt be much tougher after half hour I went inside and went to sleep after cleaning up. But I am taking too many chances!!!

I am getting impatient, it seems to me, always have a feeling just finish it off. I would say the product of environment stuff. Another one came but of no success. Everyone has different take on this. Lets see how it goes. Sanity you need the Sanitary market manager.

This ambiguity kills me and still I am writing this blog and doing all the other nonsense stuff.

Cheers mate!!

People in Jaipur

are senseless utterly disobedient, careless and rule breaker. They don't have any mannerism or respect for that no respect for the queue. You give your name in restaurant queue but of no use and these people show no signs of shame or sorry if proved wrong.

I dont like this.

On the road no respect for signals, a truck missed one of these types by inches. Honking & Tonking. There is no lane discipline eventhough Jaipur boasts of the best road with clearly marked lanes but who cares!!!

I hate it.

I am at sometimes one of them but this is a very commonly prevalent attitude here.

I am not saying that you go to the discipline level of Dubai or other places but something muct be there. Respecting others is same in all part of the world.

I am Sad
