But there

are some good people in the world who are always there to help people like me. The guy at Amravati restaurant in food court had neatly packed my wallet in the polythene pack. He had double packed and sealed with staples. May God bless him!! and give something to me to get rid of this careless/carefree nature.

Anyways as usual I am not doing what I should be doing. Watched Dostana online yesterday. Good movie. I think the director had good hold of the movie all time and didn't let it slip. As somebody said someone else would be better than Boby Deol. He doesn't have the charisma that was needed for the role. Definitely Karan Johar maintained his faithfulness toward Bachhan family and AB was given good amount of stuff to do and he it delivered it well. John Abraham great and probably had it taken away from AB with only one stunt. Piggy Chops is mind blowing with fantastic acting. I believe she gives tough fight to Preity in being a Babe!!

Heading off to Jaipur again.... BKGupta's marriage!! Now a days I walk to my office and come back also i.e. a 5 Km walk every day in 50 min. On the way back buy two hot oven baked chapatis Pakistani style.

God please push some Sanity here and little luck too....

In all probability I have lost it. I think I left it on the counter at the food vendor stall in the food court. :(

I am not sad.... but perplexed and cannot figure out how to react to this.

Could be in office also somewhere on my desk!!! I pray it is.

not much of money but
- 3 credit cards
- 1 ATM
- PAN card and several membership cards
- Infinite other important chits
- Driving Licenses and the IIT I card.

Writing on the Wall

It seems to be the writing on the wall "Ankur we regret to inform you that.... you have missed the bus again". And I seem to be not doing anything for this. As Mitra said the effort you have put in the application reflects in your essays and yours truly spanning the world didn't had dedicated time for his own application for next year. At times and places the "compromise" together with the ambiguity is further sinking me down. Further the competition with economies sinking down is worsening the situation. Those financial guys with deep pockets dont think about the interest rates and returning the loan so all the schools are open.

This negativity is somehow not letting me think clearly and appreciate different aspects. Taking the positive out of the "financial" applications: I might be distinct, but how good is my marketing of the distinctiveness. The I-bankers and the researchers could also put in their exposure point. World travel everyone has, who cares about the extensiveness.

Spoke to pc yesterday for 20 min chat and we both were quiet!!! somethings from here and there but nothing good. We are 5 Hours apart.

I have put on good amount of weight and now I am motivating myself to climb up three floors in my building hopefully tomorrow. I worked hard at home and ate hard as well. Spent two nights out of home!! played 3 patti at abhinav's place and lost 80AED came back at 5:00. Lots of things happened. We 6, Abhinav, Shishir, Abhilash, Ritesh and Priyanka (PJ) went to Nahargarh, the RDB fort. 4 of these guys were driniking and I as a good obedient boy didnt. On the way to top we stopped to watch the lighting etc, then came a police jeep. I had a can which I had placed on the car dicky. Just before the Policeman got down I picked it up and was holding behind me. Then he called up driver so Ritesh went up to him and showed his license etc. The policeman allowed him to drive with lots of comment etc and waited for us to get going. In the mean time I had placed the can on the boundary wall. Now how could I leave the can outside calling forth all the H2 PAF stealing skills I picked up and smuggled it in the car. Somehow was very exciting. :D

On diwali day called up sharad at 11:15 and we roamed on the roads in his car till 4:30 am. Geting more daredevil we had 7 sticks each. Our discussions moved from one thing to other and so did the car. We started fom my place went to MI road. Then moved to main railway station after this we thought we should have long drive now so we went to someplace beyond Sanganer. which was about 40Km + I think we should have spanned more than 100km that night in 4 hours. I was thinking mom & dad would be sleepping so I could easily sneak in but to my surprise mom was up and due to some traditon stuff she was doing something. It couldnt be much tougher after half hour I went inside and went to sleep after cleaning up. But I am taking too many chances!!!

I am getting impatient, it seems to me, always have a feeling just finish it off. I would say the product of environment stuff. Another one came but of no success. Everyone has different take on this. Lets see how it goes. Sanity you need the Sanitary market manager.

This ambiguity kills me and still I am writing this blog and doing all the other nonsense stuff.

Cheers mate!!

People in Jaipur

are senseless utterly disobedient, careless and rule breaker. They don't have any mannerism or respect for that no respect for the queue. You give your name in restaurant queue but of no use and these people show no signs of shame or sorry if proved wrong.

I dont like this.

On the road no respect for signals, a truck missed one of these types by inches. Honking & Tonking. There is no lane discipline eventhough Jaipur boasts of the best road with clearly marked lanes but who cares!!!

I hate it.

I am at sometimes one of them but this is a very commonly prevalent attitude here.

I am not saying that you go to the discipline level of Dubai or other places but something muct be there. Respecting others is same in all part of the world.

I am Sad

Hopping planes and cities

Abey you coming here again? Thrice in a week!!! -- Ankur & Kanti

Yeah that's been my story over the fortnight. I flew from Dubai to Jaipur, took a bus to Gurgaon and then flew to Bangkok returned back to Gurgaon, then by bus to Jaipur and flew back to Dubai to process my china visa. again flew to Jaipur, took bus to Gurgaon and flew to Shanghai via Hong Kong. and then came to Dubai direct today.

Shanghai airport: Looks wise it is good otherwise it is the pathetic airport. No ATM's work, you cannot exchange INR/THB/AED wtf. minimum feed is 50RMB as if all the flying Chinese are millionaires and people who come to china are also millionaires. you don't get much to eat. Burger King takes only cash no credit card. I had to run around all the airport to get 20RMB but I couldnt get from any proper source. I exchanged INR with RMB from an Indian traveler from Kolkata. The other worst part is it is 55Km from the main city. so for a 0715 flight I started at 0400 and reached by 0520. This is when there was no traffic. In terms of architecture etc it is amazing much better than Dubai and other airports.

Delhi Airport: Cute airport. I love Indian airports usually you could be through will all the process of checking in, Immigration etc in 15-20min**. I did it twice in delhi :). since it is small so very compact therefore walking time is less. But the usual practice of highlighting the presence is there. I think we could be much better and improve our airports on security checks. May be installing the better X ray machines.
Also the other thing which needs attention is the taxi service. you should use dedicated airport taxi and run it on meter I think many more will use it, if the fare becomes "legal". Prepaid is not good.
Other good thing which we could do is the "chaffeur" service as in you handover you luggage to be checked in at the flight gate and you will get it back as soon as you get off the plane. No waiting nothing. Easy beasy yupp and easy!!!

** Mumbai was good I use to start from home 2 hs before flight and everything was on JIT basis. I miss those days here and everywhere.

rest airports are ok or not worth the special comments. May be I dont remember now.

Hanover was amazing. Thanks to Nitesh I enjoyed the place. VERY BEAUTIFUL, cool, calm. and has two Indian restaurants. It is inexpensive as well. Picturesque now i could say that the windows desktop photographs are real. actual color changing of the leaves. Though it had just started but still I could see. I visited school, did some house work for Nitesh & gang. I did my best to screw up the school visit thanks to Nitesh I could improvise and do something better. Cameroon was hot. attended a panel discussion on the financial crisis, was surprised to see how they were commenting on Paulson and Bernanke the ease with which they were taking their name.

Met Sandeep Sharma aka Saand in MIT just by sheer luck. I was waiting outside Stata Building for Varun and then I see somebody rushing down the stairs and looking at me (Since I was the onely giy dressed in suit so I didnt took much notice) after sometime I made out from the voice that it is Sandeep. Good to see him but both had to rush so it was hi & bye only. I was at my careless best at MIT or may be I was having NBD to catch the flight to Dubai. I dont know forgot my camera, left the door unlocked, left the session without taking lunch.

Also I ran into Harshad Kasture, my hostel junior, at a supermarket. Then we had a party together, myself, Karthik (host) Varun and Harshad. I made the tadka for Daal and rice & vegetable were cooked by Karthik. Varun got the red wine for just $3.00.

Actually many a things to write on my travelogue. I think I will write tomorrow.

I said NO, but they said something about getting along. What I say is a phone call doesnt take much time howsoever busy you are orany strange things happen to you? We are talking something serious, its not a joke or something proposed by others. But the good thing is chapter closed and I love this. another deja vu. another parallel with him.

I am tired, just finished two applications thinking of next two will start on them by tomorrow.

Cheers

Mango

I'm Mango
You are luscious, exotic and sweet. You inspire passon and lust in everyone you meet. A mango lover is a personality to be reckoned with; quite often you are a person who has unique ideas, and influencer. You tend to be an extremist with strong likes and dislikes; and at times even like to control a situation.

I have to write, but I am busy with some other GOD stuff.

- US trip
- Boston, Hanover, Chicago
- Airports
- Flights
- Random People (Sandeep, Harshad...)

My stay in USof A

I can only say India is Best and India is Great!!!!
My stay here is going good except for the fact that it is a truly Ulti States:
- You cannot use the International Credit card to do...... a lot of stuff. Only you can pay the hotel bill
- You dont get cell phone chargers at airports
- You dont get the prepaid cards easily....actually the concept is not known here!!! go to my lovely India even you could do this from paanwale ki thadi!!!

I am not complaining but somehow I am forced to..... otherwise it is a good place

I am writing this post from Rochester airport where the flight to Chicago is delayed by an hour :( I hope this doesn't happen to the Boston--> NYC flight I only have 1hour 30 min difference :(

I am doomed..... shifted one of the applications to second round....

Cheers

after some time

Been busy or may be pretending to be busy. Taking GMAT on 2nd. Haven't done anything on first application and neither on the preparation and on Saturday I have my final driving test. For sure this time it will be either way. I dont think I am doing justice.

The exercise schedule is long gone. Aalas is supreme commander.

Few days back was remember the old days in Jaipur when every Sunday at 3:30 pm I use to listen Diamond comics show, in which they relayed some part of the new comics...... this show had interesting tune as it is starting jingle.

Who cares!!!

met Fukka Dada and Shweta Bhabhi, she is good cook. I liked the way she maintained the house, lovely. Inspired me to return to khobar soon and more often :P

Cheers
