bonkers

I go when I read the old emails. This time the opportunity was provided when I dloaded and opened gmail on Thunderbird. Old email specifically from rg, pc, opsingh and ankur shrivastava aman also deserves a name in that list. Crazy guys with all the email mentioning the crazy stuff.

One of the other good emails was the email from Sari, topi about the emails from Op. Had very hectic weekend switching between the websites for updates in F1, IPL and BPL (Manu Vs Chelsea) good that Chelsea defeated Manu so I love Chelsea, also they have lamps. Just that the West-Ham defeats Manu like they did last year, Manu draws with the other team and Chelsea is held for draws against the other two teams thirdly Arsenal wins all the games by 6-0 Score, May be there is some hope. :D I am over optimistic (or fool as others say, but yes I follwo Arsenal, though I dont watch any of their matches).

IPL is nice 10 sixes by Gilchrist, 220+ scores in 20 overs, 4,6,4,4,4,4 were the stats for on over yesterday it is nice. I will not comment on its effect on ODI or cricket but yes people are making money and making a good impression too. whatever.

Now a days it is more frequent when I am blank. I simply dont know what to do. 100% blank, as If I dont have anything to do. I think I must change and bring in something new. dude write and track be smart.

Start of the Day

Is very important I believe. If it is good or Ok rest of teh day goes easy or better but if it starts bad the whole day goes haywire. as it happened today one firing call right up when I was just out of home. And then everybody had put in their best efforts to make it worse for me. My temper was high as it is I am short tempered and every small mistake of mine or other made the day worse. Nothing much to say. In these days a stick seems to be nice and easy choice to blow away.... but incidently this thought didnt occured to me. Good for me.

Only good job I did was talk to my mom and to sis. For a change it was a very nice and easy conversation I had with mom in past few days. sis is busy packing and socializing with all.

I am not doing anything at all. At least I should make a cv.

I think I should do something for myself.

This rat race should stop and some serious stuff should start.

Cheers!!

PS: I think I will go to tokyo if pc replies.

nice one....

I dont know for me how much does sympathy for someone holds good in teh job? or may be like how much apathetic to somebody.... for me it is if somebody is deserving he should get it, not by imploring for it. Also the employer should be rational in his actions he should not be swayed away by the emotions or the poor conditions, its a corporate not a charity and as it is you have a lean organization and if you have one soft link you are done all others suffer.

Well actually the heading was for a different matter and the blog started with something else. nice one as all are ok now :) and I am relieved and happy.

Nowadays I can talk a bit, I carried all the conversation at the dinner with teh GM of a very small IDEX unit. I dont know how much he liked it but it was much better then the all the crap the other people talk.

Whatever.... What are you doing my friend? I need to finish the list, if I have to do it. may be this is my procatination scapegoat.

Just do it for once!!!

Enjoy!

Car & Me

I dont know when I will get the license but I do have a plan for my car whichever it might be. I want a sheesha inside the car. Its a best thing for me as of now :P (though Shewta has other reasons for it).

Tomorrow I have a parking and signal test. which is parking the car parallel to the road signal test is simple you have to tell what each signal stands for. They say that car driving is science and art. I have to shell out a good chunk of money for the test as well as the fee, this company doesn't even pays single bit for it.

I think tomorrow I will take off.

chalo me off to sleep.

cheers

Egypt

Well a long forgotten collection, I was good boy but IDEX ruined me. :P
I think for this atleast, Thanks Shweta :)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yesterday wrote a long post, but lost it. I will write again.

I am on road since 13th March, one day trip to Kuwait, week long to Saudi, followed by another week long trip to Shanghai, 10 day break in Dubai, now in Egypt for a week, next to Oman (may be) next week, again to Shanghai for 4 days (planning to do a mumbai or tokyo trip on teh way), to Saudi for 2 weeks and may be Jordan & Lebanon till June first week. Then might go to some place in ASEAN for Training (:P). Finally end of June & July 1st week India calling. Couldn't plan more :D

In Egypt these days. This has been a tough visit for me, daily getting up at 5:30 or 6:00 in the morning traveling 500kms doing a true sales man job. Visit a customer do a presentation repeat same stuff again but answer some different question which is nice. Sit in car listen to Egyptian music and some discussion to get some more information. :). I saw pyramids again day before yesterday but only from a distance snapped a few photographs will post them on picassa once I go back to Dubai. I saw another historically important thing, the Suez canal, we drove along side this and I have photographs of the ships going in one direction and these will be available once I go back. Ships are allowed to go in one direction only some days North to South traffic and other days South to North. They have a road along side the canal and train track parallel to road, so three modes placed next to each other, would make a great pic to have air plane passing by with a train on track, ship/boat in canal and truck on road.

Egypt is a nice country, beautiful may be India some 15-20 years ago. similarities in terms of the settlings and the government offices and the attitude of the people there. Country side has similar houses (Kuccha and Pucca) with some small painting on the front wall, may have a boundary wall. typical conggregated shops, bus stand etc by the road (read highway) something which I see more in Rajasthan & Maharashtra at least. In cities also you have two storyed bungalows with garden and a car parked in front. big trees on the round abouts a typical south delhi types area (I vaguely remember some places I went when I was in Delhi some 11-12 yeas ago).

The government offices, old ragged building as if it would crumple down any moment, pale paint, stinking corridors with irregular chips/cemented flooring, small rooms with big windows (wrt to the room size), small table full of papers, the gentleman sitting across (unshaven, smoking and may be yellowed clothes) smoking ciggratte. They have 20-28 year old equipments with pumps in almost dying stage but they still claim that these are working fine. Whatever the country is nice and willing to change so company like ours would like to make the most :P.

Need to talk to my mom as pandit is not going to help anymore, pitch it up again with more data. Lets see

Cheers
Ankur.

PS: Project Tyson is on and I am gathering all the stuff from the IIT & Post IIT time so please email me on my gmail id whatever you have. Thanks :)

What am I doing

It failrly clear that I dont have slightest of ideas about what I am doing? Not even the rat race. But does it matter if ou really need to have any idea about.

To say I am doing good in my job would be exaggeration. No one to blame but myself. Only thing is I am getting pretty mechnical. get up, get ready go to office and do the work (call here and there), take lunch come back and do same job again. come home and have food, chat a bit and then sleep and the cycle goes on same even on fridays (I am still making a report and trying to figure out where to fakofy and how much :( ). Whatever, I will somehow break this lets see.

My mom is not too optimistic and my hopes are getting dashed.... because of the all above I have lost the willingness to fight out.

I dont know, I am a big fool.

Ankur Help Me.
